BRM opens new regional office

In line with the ongoing expansion of operations, BRM have recently opened a regional office in Surrey at the Officers' Mess building on the Caterham Barracks development.

Previously the Officers' Mess provided offices, workspace and recreation for the officers stationed at the Guards Depot, Caterham. It included a dining room, a pool room and various offices.

Now a fully serviced office facility, the new location will form a hub for both Consultants and Project teams to support ongoing operations and commitments globally.

Engaging with the London Diplomatic Community

BRM are pleased to announce that they have been invited to join the London Diplomatic Association (LDA) as a Business Partner with Preferred Supplier Status.

Established in 1964 by diplomats for diplomats, the LDA provides members with an opportunity to gain a deeper insight into Britain's political, economic, and social affairs, extending their contacts and broadening their professional experience.

Preferred Supplier Status is by invite only and will open up a number of opportunities to attend LDA events. These events are designed to give members of the diplomatic community an opportunity to meet each other and to develop valuable personal and business contacts with members of the business community.

A BRM Spokesperson commented "We are delighted to be involved with the LDA and are looking forward to engaging with members of the diplomatic community and understanding where we may be able to add value and assist with their individual needs".

Looking after your greatest asset outside of the traditional workplace

A team from BRM attended the recent Duty of Care conference held at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London.

The conference, organized by Quaynote Communications, was an excellent opportunity to network with peers, swap ideas and best practice and meet face to face the technology providers who are offering solutions in this area.

The team were also able to engage with individuals from HR managers to Corporate Security representatives and discuss the various issues and concerns they face when travelling staff are travelling abroad.

BRM welcome new auditors on board

In line with the increased demand for the for the Global Lighthouse Certification, BRM recently hosted a course conducted by Managing Director and founder of Skytouch, Stefan Hiller.

The course, held in London, was attended by nine auditors all of whom successfully completed the intensive two days of training.

Amongst the new auditors were individuals who will concentrate specifically on the Middle East and Asia markets, allowing BRM and Skytouch to meet the global demands of their clients.

An added bonus was the attendance of Professor Peter Jones CBE, from Ehotelier, the global portal for the Hospitality Industry.

Putting Hotel Security in a New Light - Connecting Hospitality and Security

Bentley Risk Management International are pleased to announce that they have now partnered with Sky Touch Global Hotel Security Consulting PTY LTD, a specialised security and risk management organisation. Bentley Risk Management are now licensed by Sky Touch to conduct the Global Lighthouse Certification audits for Sky Touch around the world.

Sky Touch is an independent global security consulting company based in Australia, which specialises and focuses on risk management for the hotel industry. Sky Touch provides Hotel security certification worldwide. The Global Lighthouse Certification Program is based on global security standards recognised as best practice.

The strategic alliance between BRM and Sky Touch provides growth opportunities for both organisations. The alliance promises benefits which include synergies of commercial activity and knowledge exchange, and ensures global standards in auditing are being met when certifying Hotels in security standards in the Global Lighthouse Certification Program.
